Well, I am officially hot. I suppose the summer has a lot to do with it, but for the first time I realized I am especially uncomfortable and more so than other people. I'm SO glad these will be winter babies! Today is my "half-way" mark (19 weeks) because I know I'll be induced by 38 weeks if nothing else happens sooner. Yay!
I'm not sure how I feel about going 4 more months while still growing at this rate. My belly is going to be ridiculously huge. Yet, I *think* I would rather be hugely uncomfortable than have morning sickness again. We shall see.
Pregnancy really is a strange phenomenon, because in some ways it's like having some kind of progressive chronic disease, except it ends by giving birth to a baby (or two) and then it's completely over!
I am hungry, a lot. And tired, a lot. So I keep eating and sleeping, a lot. Sometimes I think my behavior is more infant-like than adult. Maybe it's just a way to get used to babies before they come? In any case, growing two babies is a lot of work!
Well let's see, in other news, I went to the specialist again and the babies are still looking great. No signs of Twin to Twin Transfusion or risk of preterm labor. Aaron hasn't been to one of these appointments yet, so I'm excited he can come to the next one. They only gave me two pictures this time.

This picture may require some creative eyes to see what is going on. Baby A is cuddling against Baby B's back and she is also curled into a ball. You can actually see the nuchal chord on Baby A - it's the lumpy hunchback-looking part on her back. Oh and for some reason we are looking at Baby A's brain.
I'm excited to go to the doctor in Utah because he will actually be the one bringing these littlies into the world! I have A LOT of questions about that.
We have thought of names, though we aren't totally set on them so I think we'll wait to share, maybe until they are born. I call them all kinds of things for now - NOT baby A and B - more like "the babes", "munchkins", "the twins", "my girls", and "twin tigers" hasn't quite stuck like I wanted it to. Aaron calls them "the little stinkers", so as you can see, we are an affectionate bunch.
I'm still documenting my belly, though our locations are less epic.

We went to Babies R Us to check out the options. They didn't have a lot of twin things to look at - specifically strollers - but it was still a helpful trip. Of course the clothing section was my favorite, what about being miniature makes baby clothing so cute?? I officially got a belly this week and I just have to note that these clothes make it look huge.
I'm now obvious enough people aren't afraid to ask when I am due, fortunately no strange people trying to touch me yet.
Well that's all for now, the adventure coming up is driving across the country without going crazy in the car!
Love,
Lauresa
